Gregory Funaro has worked professionally as an actor in New York City and all over the U.S. in regional theatre, summer stock and national tours. He holds an MFA in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, an AM in Theatre History from Brown University, and is a proud graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. A faculty member at ECU for twenty years, his directing and acting credits are too numerous to mention here. In addition to being the instructor of the two-year professional actor training sequence in Meisner Technique, Gregory is the New York Times best-selling author of Disney-Hyperion’s Alistair Grim series of children’s books, as well as the recent Watch Hollow series from HarperCollins.
