Theatre and Dance Living Learning Community

The School of Theatre and Dance’s Living Learning Community residence location will be announced Summer 2026.

Program Overview

The purpose of the Theatre & Dance LLC (T&D LLC) is to help freshmen Theatre and Dance majors succeed at ECU, in the major, and in the profession. The T&D LLC will achieve its goals by supporting a small community of creative students as they experience the advantages of a large university. Similarly, students in the T&D LLC will begin their freshman year as part of a growing family while developing many strategies to excel in their field of study.

Program Goals

  1. Students will connect with other students in the School of Theatre and Dance.
  2. Students will share common interests and develop a sense of community.
  3. Students will identify with resources at East Carolina University to help them succeed.
  4. Encourage students to join and/or participate in the East Carolina Dance Association, East Carolina Theatre Association and/or the East Carolina Design and Production club.

All return communication will be sent via email to your ECU email account after your application is received. Students will also need to apply for housing and complete a housing contract with ECU’s Campus Living.
