Prior to joining the ECU faculty, Natalie Stewart taught voice and speech in such distinguished programs at the University of Texas at Austin, Brandeis University in Boston, Bowling Green State University in Ohio and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. In Utah, Ohio and North Carolina, she has acted in numerous productions. Her roles include General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls, Doris in Damn Yankees, Hypatia in Misalliance, Eliza in My Fair Lady, Rita in Educating Rita, and Cherie in Bus Stop. She received an MFA from the Theatre Voice Coaches and Trainers Program at the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver, Colorado. Stewart teaches voice and speech and serves as the Dialects and Vocal Coach for ECU/Loessin Playhouse productions. She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
