Merinda Evans has a BA from Howard University along with her diploma form the National Ballet of the Republic of Guinea where she also worked and performed along with several African Dance companies. Since 1984, she has been a dancer and drummer for “Soul In Motion,” a West African dance troupe. Sher has performed at Lincoln Center, the United Nations, the Kennedy Center, and many more. Her teaching credits include Parley Coburn, Safe Streets in Washington DC, Project Create, and Model Secondary School for the Deaf. She is currently a guest faculty at ECU’s School of Theatre and Dance.
