ECU Summer Drama Camp

The ECU Summer Drama Camp is for youth ages 5-10, 11-13 and 14-18. It’s a fun-filled experience in theatre including acting, improvisation, movement, performance and audition techniques for high school students, improvisation, performance, scriptwriting for middle school and integrated arts, puppetry, mask making, creative dramatics and storybook theatre for elementary school students. The emphasis is placed on the PROCESS of growth and discovery through theatre arts activities, culminating in a Final Share Showcase to be held on the final morning of camp.

Full Day Session: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
1/2 Day Morning Session: 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
1/2 Day Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Classes are divided into four sections, servingĀ grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

ECU Summer Jazz Dance Camp
For middle and high school dancers, the ECU Summer Jazz Dance Camp offers classes in all styles of jazz dance with an emphasis on technique.

Summer Jazz Dance Camp 2019 dates will be announced soon.

Messick Theatre Arts Center on the campus of ECU

8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Price is $35 per day or $150 for the week.
